RORY SUTHERLAND

VICE CHAIRMAN

@rorysutherland Rory Sutherland is the Vice Chairman of Ogilvy, where he has worked since 1988. This attractively vague job title has allowed him to form a behavioural science practice within the agency dedicated to uncovering the hidden business and social possibilities which emerge when you apply creative minds to the latest thinking in psychology and behavioural science. He is the author of three books: The Wiki Man, the best-selling Alchemy - The surprising Power of Ideas which don't make Sense, published in the UK and US in May 2019, and, co-written with his former colleague Pete Dyson, the newly released Transport For Humans on the behavioural science of transport. He is the host on the podcast OnBrand with ALF and he has joined forces with MAD//Masters to lead a CPD accredited personal development programme to help marketers adapt, make sense of accelerated disruption and use the tried and tested recipe of using creativity, innovation and behavioural science to their competitive advantage.

VICKI MAGUIRE

Vicki Maguire is a rare breed: a world-class creative, a woman leading the charge and a force for modernising our industry. Appointed Havas London’s first female CCO in 2020, she helped steer the agency to its best-ever year creatively – winning its first Cannes Gold Lion in almost a decade for the Black Plaque Project. She was named Creative Leader of the Year in both 2020 and 2021 by Campaign Magazine, as well as a Female Frontiers honouree for her groundbreaking achievements in advertising. She was also named on the IPA’s inaugural iList – recognising the industry’s 30 most outstanding diversity and inclusivity game-changers. In 2016, she became the chair of the Creative Circle Awards – the first woman ever to hold that position. Active within organisations such as WACL and SheSays to promote the advancement of women in advertising, she is one of the most popular, outspoken and recognisable voices in the industry.

Joel has spent his near-decade at the Guardian in the game of audience and revenue growth. He is now engaged in how to use brand, engagement and product marketing to seize the Guardian's global opportunities.

SOPHIE HILTON

CREATIVE STUDIO DIRECTOR

@sophiemadeleineobrien Sophie has worked in the music industry for over twenty years, in radio but, for the vast majority, in marketing. Recently her role developed into Creative Director of the UMR Studio (which is the catalogue division of Universal Music UK). She looks after artists from The Beatles, to Amy Winehouse, to Bob Marley and thousands more with an ethos to also shine a light on artists who may not have had the recognition they deserved in their day. Sophie looks after a studio team of talented designers and creatives and her role, specifically, is in the production of music videos and short films. Last year, she produced a film on the last ever Beatles song (Now & Then) which, along with the Grammy win for our I'm Only Sleeping video, is her personal career highlight to date.

Kat is an award-winning Creative Director who build her almost 20-year-long career in both traditional agencies and digital hot-shops in London and across Europe. Now at Meta’s in-house agency CreativeX, she leads campaigns for Instagram and Facebook internationally - currently in Japan and India.

As a copywriter and creative director I love making work of various shapes, sizes and flavours. From big yogurt posters to mini chocolate billboards, tear-jerking telly ads to sleep-inducing bedtime stories. And one time a soap opera for meerkats. Because why not?

ANTO CHIOCCARELLI

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Anto is Creative Director for Outdoor at Global where she is responsible for setting and implementing the creativity and innovation agenda for Global’s outdoor business, in partnership with advertising clients and creative agencies. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience working in the outdoor and creative industries having previously worked at JCDecaux where she launched and ran the company’s Creative Hub, Foundry. Before that she worked at a number of creative agencies including VCCP.

CALYPSO NEWMAN

FOUNDER

@rockbadgeragency Calypso is the founder of Rock Badger, a creative consultancy working at the intersection of art, data and new media. Calypso’s expertise and career foundations are in the art world. She believes that art empowers innovation, inspiring creative and original uses for technology. Rock Badger analyses how artists are experimenting with new technology - challenging the forms and functions of AI, data and software. By taking ideas from art into commercial contexts, Rock Badger helps organisations build exciting products that tackle issues like climate change and tell unique stories. Calypso has led several undergraduate workshops on Art and Innovation at Northeastern University and is working with emerging media to transform how organisations’ are visualising their sustainability.

CHARLENE CHANDRASEKARAN

@charlenechandrasekaran Having started her career at BBH London, followed by Droga5 London in 2016, Charlene has been working with her creative partner, Dan Morris for over 15 years. Their experience across a breadth of brands, most notably for St John Ambulance, Axe, Barclaycard and Paramount, has had their work recognised at every major award show. They are now currently the Executive Creative Directors at The Or London.

BE MANZINI

POET & FILM WRITER / DIRECTOR

@bemanzini Known as the ‘film poet’ Be Manzini uniquely combines passions for film, poetry and activism. First ever writer in residence for Sundance, the only poet to appear on Mark Kermode’s shows plus a regular panellist for the BFI, Manzini’s has graced stages, screens as well as the page Channel 4, across BBC tv and radio plus various podcasts. As a workshop facilitator/mentor reached over 7,000 students and as director and host for Caramel Film Club, which focusses on Black creatives, many more. Be’s film making has garnered multiple awards being recognised by the UK Creative Festival, the Southbank Centre & the Royal Society of the Arts.

I have 15+ years of experience building an award winning agency, driving a creative culture and providing strategic consultancy to A-list companies. Currently CEO of Dentsu Creative Amsterdam (115 FTE), where we work with our clients on brand strategy & identities, campaigns & activations, content & social media and digital products & experiences.

With a career spanning advertising, international development and sustainability, Susie Braun is Group Director of Social Purpose and Sustainability at ITV, leading on ITV’s mission to shape culture for good. With four focus areas - Better Health, Climate Action, Diversity and Inclusion and Giving Back - ITV seeks to use its huge reach and unforgettable content to help change attitudes and behaviours both on-screen and behind-the-scenes.

Lucas is a multifaceted creative leader whose passion lies in building and leading multidisciplinary teams to drive highly distinctive work that grows brands and businesses by understanding the world we live in and how we live it. He comes armed with a unique background that includes heading film production companies, digital agencies, and traditional agencies. He has successfully generated award-winning work for prominent clients such as Nespresso, BT Sports, Shell, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, HSBC, Heineken, Microsoft, and Danone. His approach has been celebrated at leading festivals across the globe, such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Webbys, and Clios. And it has allowed him to successfully run, build and merge creative departments in South America, North America, and Europe, for companies ranging from start-ups to network-owned, global agencies. Currently, Lucas is Chief Creative Officer at The Gate. Only two years after he joined, he has already helped the agency reach historical milestones such as winning its first Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, and One Show awards. Before The Gate, Lucas led J Walter Thompson, London‘s creative team (now VML) as Executive Creative Director. Under his leadership, the office achieved its best creative awards performance in over three decades, with more than 90 awards in two years, including 7 Cannes Lions, 8 D&AD and 7 Clios –securing the third spot on the list of most awarded UK creative agencies at Cannes and 4th place in the GUNN report. And before that, he was Executive Creative Director and Chief Creative Officer at POSSIBLE (first in the US and later in the UK), one of the largest digital agencies of the WPP group.

@leila_fataar A renowned brand builder and business innovator, Leila Fataar has over two decades of senior leadership experience at the intersection of culture, creativity and commerce, underpinned by a commitment to authenticity and advocacy for inclusive representation throughout the advertising, marketing and communications industries. A pioneer of the cultural branding blueprint with her rare ability to speak the languages of culture, corporate and entrepreneurial, she has spearheaded an approach from the boardroom to the billboard that positions cultural relevance not only as a marketing nice-to-have, but also as a key business growth driver. Working globally both brand-side, in senior positions at adidas and Diageo, and through her owned companies across multiple categories, her expertise lies in the ability to read the cultural zeitgeist and signals and translate it into compelling brand strategies that resonate with diverse audiences. Early 2025 sees her unique perspective distilled in her first book “CULTURE-LED BRANDS”.

NICKI KYTHREOTIS

SENIOR CONCEPTUAL DESIGNER

Nicki Kythreotis, born and bred Londoner, has always had a keen eye for creativity and detail. She is known for pushing the boundaries of graphic design and delivering best in class branding and advertising campaigns. Nicki's forward-thinking approach has earned her a reputation as a creative and reliable designer in the field, often being called upon to deliver high end designs. She is also known for advocating movement whilst in and outside the work environment, often encouraging those around her to improve their creativity and well-being through movement. Some of the leading agencies Nicki has worked with include: BBH, Ogilvy, Adam & Eve DDB, Fallon, Publicis, Grey London, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Leo Burnett. Outside of her professional endeavours, Nicki is an avid traveller. She believes that experiencing different cultures and environments profoundly influences the creative process. Nicki also enjoys the feeling of physical movement, you will often see her dancing or briskly walking during a lunch break. Looking to the future, Nicki aims to explore new frontiers in the design process, particularly in the realms of how our bodies affect our minds, and visa-versa. Her ongoing journey is a source of inspiration for aspiring designers and a benchmark for excellence in the ever-evolving world of graphic design.

ROB BOVINGTON

EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Rob is an experienced Executive Creative Director with a track record of delivering big ideas for UK and global brands. Some of his stand-out work includes disruptive campaigns for HSBC UK with Richard Ayoade, first prize for TFL's 2021 Diversity competition with Sex Never Gets Old for Replens, and a popular TV spot for Ribena. He’s worked in some of the best creative departments in London, such as, Adam & Eve DDB, DLKW Lowe and JWT. His work for the likes of Budweiser, Volkswagen, Hasbro, Johnson & Johnson, and Unilever has won several key awards at some of the biggest festivals, such as Cannes Lions, Clios, Epicaand Creative Circle.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY & INSIGHT

From beers to baby milk, energy companies to energy drinks, fast food delivery to fast fashion Lucy has devised comms strategies for some of the biggest cultural juggernauts out there. In recent years she has turned her attention to growing specialisms around fandoms and community building (for brands like Sky, Krispy Kreme & Lego), connecting audience values to brand storytelling (for Primark) and using AI in campaign planning efficiency. She’s most recently been at VCCP and prior to that Mischief, a new agency home is soon to be announced.
