Working in the commercial art world Calypso witnessed how artists were using AI and data as new mediums. Their work helped her understand the power of technology to create unique ways of powerfully engaging with global issues.
Calypso founded Rock Badger, to create beautiful data-driven artwork with an impactful purpose. Since launching Rock Badger, she has worked with international clients across a number of fields to help visualise and communicate their data from global media platforms to sustainability initiatives in Belize.
Calypso has lectured at Northeastern Boston, Northeastern London and University of Essex on Art and AI and spoken at the BBC. She recently interviewed Coldplay's Will Champion on sustainability and AI. She received First Place Prize AI and Impact Award from Northeastern University in their Global Entrepreneurship Women who Empower Awards.
