Georgina Wilson-Powell is a serial media entrepreneur and the founder of Don't Miss Media Group, a hyperlocal civic media network built around newsletter-led community publications in Margate, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs. After founding and scaling pebble magazine into the UK's leading sustainable living platform before selling it in 2022, she turned her attention to a different kind of media gap: the communities left behind by the collapse of local news.
Georgina has founded and scaled media businesses for 20+ years across print, digital, events and online communities, in the UK and UAE, and has published 3 books. She lives in Margate with her wife and dog.
