Louise Brooks is a place strategist, regeneration practitioner and social entrepreneur specialising in the revitalisation of towns and high streets. She is Executive Director of Ramsgate Space CIC, a community-led regeneration organisation tackling empty shops and supporting enterprise growth through creative meanwhile use, business support and workspace development.
Alongside her work in Ramsgate, Louise advises local authorities, developers, Business Improvement Districts and community organisations on place strategy, regeneration, stakeholder engagement and economic development. She has worked on projects across the UK, helping places develop distinctive identities, attract investment and create opportunities for local people and businesses.
Louise is particularly interested in the role of creativity, enterprise and community ownership in shaping resilient and prosperous places.
